Clement must axe Bajrami at HT for Rangers v Dundee United, he’s been invisible

Philippe Clement should hook Nedim Bajrami at half time to help Rangers secure three points against Dundee United.

The Gers go in at the break on level terms at Tannadice Park after Mohammed Diomande scored an excellent goal from range on 36 minutes.

This cancelled out an earlier Sam Dalby strike after a string of poor defending from the Light Blues with less than 20 minutes on the clock.

The scores are level at the interval which gives Clement the chance to impact the game by bringing Tom Lawrence or Ross McCausland on.

Rangers must hook Nedim Bajrami at half time v Dundee United

The first half in DD3 was typical of the Gers’ recent troubles on the road as the former Wrexham striker scored the opener.

Philippe Clement’s side haven’t won a clash on the road since early December and didn’t look comfortable in the early stages against the Tangerines.

With that being said, a change could prove to change the tide at Tannadice Park which may be needed for the Light Blues.

Bajrami has done precious little to prove why he should be starting with a very quiet showing where he often seemed invisible.

The option to bring a player with the quality of Lawrence off the bench must be enticing for the Light Blues’ manager after a first half full of difficult moments.

After the positive performance they put in against Manchester United, there is a good side there but the Govan club and Bajrami need to show it in every game, not just the glamourous fixtures.
