Lyall Cameron ‘to pass medical’ as Rangers transfer update emerges

Dundee midfielder Lyall Cameron will clear his Rangers medical if required due to his ideal fitness record, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims as he’s got experience in the SPFL, he will take less time to adapt and the injury risk will also be reduced.

It’s understood that a deal to sign the 22-year-old is in the pipeline for Gers as they’re keen on the Scottish midfielder. [Chris Jack, 17 January]

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “He’s got an ideal fitness record and will also have no issues clearing his medical.

Having experience in the league will certainly decrease the adaptation process and therefore injury risk as well.

This is part of why you see players being sold in the same league going for a little bit of a premium.

Lyall Cameron would be a long-term signing for Rangers

At 22, it’s evident that the Scottish midfielder would not just be a short-term signing, but also a long-term one.

He has shown quality at quite a young age and will only get better as time progresses.

Gers can look to seal a pre-contract agreement with him with his deal at Dundee running out at the end of the season.

In other Rangers, a club chief has issued a transfer update as their player wants to move to Ibrox in this transfer window.
