Rangers transfer round-up: Cyriel Dessers twist emerges, Vaclav Cerny latest
Rangers are not expected to be busy in the winter transfer window, but rumours regarding incomings and outgoings remain rife.
Philippe Clement is under immense pressure at Ibrox and, therefore, it would make sense for the Light Blues to back him significantly in the ongoing transfer window.
However, several players are being linked with a move away from Govan, with one player mooted to potentially join the Gers this month.
Here, Ibrox News rounds up all the transfer talk from Wednesday, 15 January.
Cyriel Dessers exit twist emerges
Leganes have contacted the Gers over signing Cyriel Dessers before the window closes on 3 February, according to Matteo Moretto (14 January).
The Nigeria international began the season as Clement’s first-choice striker, but has since lost his place to Hamza Igamane.
Therefore, a January cannot be ruled out for Dessers, especially with last season’s Spanish second-division winners firmly interested in acquiring his services.
Rangers want Lyall Cameron this month
As for incomings, Rangers may try to strike a deal with Dundee FC to sign Lyall Cameron now.
There have been talk about shaking hands with the midfielder on a pre-contract agreement, but the Scottish Daily Mail have reported that (15 January, page 75) he could move to Ibrox as early as this month.
Rangers exit agreement now close
Rabbi Matondo is in line to leave the Glasgow giants on loan during the ongoing transfer window, as per the Daily Record (15 January).
The newspaper reported via their website that an agreement for the attacker to move to a European club on a temporary basis is close.

Meanwhile, Sunderland are still pursuing a deal to sign Matondo [Rangers News, 15 January].
Vaclav Cerny favourites emerge
Vaclav Cerny is in line to leave Rangers when his season-long loan contract runs out in the summer, with Clement’s side not having an option to make the move permanent.
Fichajes reported on 14 January that the Wolfsburg ace is already attracting interest from West Ham United and Villarreal.
The Hammers are viewed as early favourites to acquire the Czechia international’s services at the end of the season.
