Rangers business ‘unacceptable’ after new Robin Propper reveal at Ibrox
Robin Propper has had a mixed season since completing a transfer to Rangers from FC Twente in the summer.
The Dutch defender was brought to the Glaswegian outfit with huge expectations but he has been underwhelming so far.
Philippe Clement counted on the 31-year-old at the start of the campaign and mostly partnered him with John Souttar, who is now injured.
The Light Blues have not been the best defensively, conceding 14 goals away from home in the Scottish Premiership, a record that has been a thorn in their side.
While the Bears are dominant at Ibrox, the same can’t be said for their travels domestically.
Propper has been highly inconsistent and once again showcased his fragilities in the 3-1 win over St Johnstone.
How much did Rangers pay for Robin Propper transfer?
Rangers paid more than the initially reported £1.5million to seal a transfer for Robin Propper, according to Twente Insite.
The news outlet reports (9 January) that the defender had a release clause of £2.7m, which the Gers exercised in the previous transfer window.
If the reports are true, then Rangers have wasted their money considering the quality of centre-back they’ve got.
The Bears are already in a financial crisis, and spending big money on the Dutch ace only makes their business even more unacceptable.

Nils Koppen and the recruitment team at Ibrox need to be held accountable for making such decisions, as the 31-year-old has failed to adapt to the Scottish Premiership.
The Glaswegian outfit are now struggling for personnel in defence with John Souttar, Leon Balogun, James Tavernier, Dujon Sterling and Neraysho Kasanwirjo out.
Clinton Nsiala has done better than Propper in recent matches, highlighting the failure of the 31-year-old’s transfer to Scottish Football.
