Rangers could bank millions after Malik Tillman transfer development
Rangers could be entitled to £3.5million if Malik Tillman completes a return to Bayern Munich, according to The Herald.
The news outlet reports (11 January) that the Gers included a 10 per cent sell-on clause in a settlement with the Bavarians after they opted out of an agreement to sell the ex-Ibrox loan star.
Bayern already gave the Light Blues £1.2m after the forward’s move to PSV Eindhoven, which includes a £35m buy-back clause.
Speaking to Eindhovens Dagblad (10 January), Tillman admitted he dreams of returning to the Allianz Arena, which could see the Bears bag a handsome fee.
Rangers could bank much-needed millions at Ibrox
The Glaswegian outfit were prudent to include the clause after the German outfit reneged from any deal.
While the American forward has progressed well at PSV, whether the Bavarians will bring him back in the coming years remains to be seen.
The 22-year-old spent the 2022/23 season at Ibrox, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers now have the likes of Vaclav Cerny, Nedim Bajrami and Ianis Hagi in their attack.

The Czech forward has been one of the Glaswegian outfit’s best players in the current campaign, but the Gers only have him on loan from Wolfsburg until the end of the season.
Hagi’s resurgence in recent weeks has been encouraging, and the fans are delighted to see him back.
Considering the need for reinforcements in the squad, the Light Blues could undoubtedly do with Tillman’s compensation fee in the winter transfer window.
Patrick Stewart has some important decisions to make in the coming weeks, one of which should be the addition of a centre-back after multiple injury issues in defence.
