Rangers information called ‘Shocking’ live on BBC Sportsound v Dundee
Rory Loy has branded the away record of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership this season as “shocking” during the draw with Dundee on Thursday.
The Gers once again crashed to a disappointing 1-1 draw at Dens Park on 9 January, coming from behind thanks to a Vaclav Cerny strike.
Loy could not believe it as the home side scored the opening goal early on, saying that goal left the Bears on minus two goal difference away from home, which has now been cut by one.
Speaking on BBC Sportsound (9 January, 20:27), Loy said: “Rangers are really struggling.
“Sitting on minus two as it stands for goal difference away from home, that is shocking.”

That goal difference may have changed by full-time but the Gers away record this season is a major concern, they have won just three league games when not playing at Ibrox.
That becomes even more frightening when compared to their home record, where they are unbeaten having won nine of ten matches, drawing the other.
It simply isn’t good enough, and if the board weren’t already scraping pennies together at Ibrox, any other manager would have been sacked weeks, if not months ago.

If they could be as consistent on the road as they are at home, they could be contending for the title with arch-rivals Celtic.
However, they are now 15 points behind Brendan Rodgers’ side with their season now reduced to damage limitation rather than rivalling the Hoops for the title.
If that gap continues, Clement may find himself without a job shortly, and the Belgian needs to improve his side’s away form immediately if given the chance.
