Philippe Clement makes Nsiala decision – Rangers confirmed XI v Dundee
Philippe Clement has made two changes for the clash between Rangers and Dundee on Thursday.
Nicolas Raskin, who has been in positive form recently, is unavailable for the Scottish Premiership match at Dens Park on 9 January due to suspension.
Dujon Sterling has also missed out on the matchday squad due to injury, with Connor Barron and Clinton Nsiala drafted in as replacements, as confirmed via the club’s official X account (9 January).
Philippe Clement makes two changes for Rangers v Dundee
Clement could regret the decision to start Nsiala against Dundee.
It is a surprising decision from the Rangers boss, with the 20-year-old yet to make his debut for the club. While some supporters might be excited to see Nsiala in action, it is a lot of pressure for the defender.
Should he struggle to perform on his debut, that could spell the end for Clement, who is under serious pressure at Ibrox, especially after three league games without a win.
Sterling’s injury blow of course left Clement with little choice but to make a change at the back. However, he did have other options, and Leon King will no doubt be reconsidering his future at the club now.
Changes aside, there are no excuses for the Gers – they need a win against Dundee on Thursday.

Failure to produce three points could spell the end for Clement at Ibrox, which means Nsiala needs to perform.
