Rangers to bank fantastic profit with Hamza Igamane sale already
Rangers could make a “fantastic” profit from Hamza Igamane in the summer transfer window, Mark Guidi says.
The award-winning journalist believes the Moroccan’s stock will rise if he continues to perform well at Ibrox after his hat-trick against Hibernian on Sunday (5 January).
Guidi has mooted top sides to potentially target the 22-year-old’s signature in six months.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show (6 January), the Scotsman said: “Igamane is getting a bit of attention, he’s getting the headlines, and rightly so. And this could be somebody that Rangers do move on in this player trading model that they’re trying to hit the button on.
“For example, Igamane has a right good game and scores a good goal against Manchester United in the Europa League. That could propel him into the serious money that they want to go and try to get. Dare I say it’ll be at the end of the season?
“He’s one that they got for £1.5million. He’s one that could make them a fantastic profit in six months.”
Rangers to bank mega Hamza Igamane transfer profit
The Light Blues will have difficulty keeping hold of Igamane if his stock continues to rise, with Premier League outfit Everton already showing interest [TBR Football, 17 December].
If the striker continues his fine form, it wouldn’t be surprising if a top European outfit made a move for him in the coming months.
A few months back, the Moroccan wasn’t seen as being ready to play for the Gers in the Scottish Premiership.
At the start of the season, Rangers relied on Cyriel Dessers for goals, but the Nigerian’s profligacy has been frustrating for the Ibrox faithful.

Philippe Clement decided to give Igamane a run in the team, and that gamble paid off.
The 22-year-old has found the back of the net seven times in his last seven league appearances for the Bears.
Danilo has also returned from injury, scoring important goals off the bench and pushing Dessers to the periphery of the squad.
While the Glaswegian outfit might not be able to deter offers for Igamane, they’ll likely make a hefty profit from his potential sale in the future.
In other Rangers news, Clement could be sacked after what has been seen this season.
