Dundee v Rangers preview: Team news, head-to-head, line-ups, where to watch
Rangers head to Dundee on Thursday with Philippe Clement looking to relieve the pressure surrounding his Ibrox future.
The Belgian manager had seemingly earned a stay of execution after the 3-0 victory against Celtic (2 January) but now finds himself under major scrutiny after an embarrassing collapse at Easter Road.
The Gers fumbled the lead twice against Hibernian to fall to an embarrassing 3-3 draw and stopped any momentum they might have had in its tracks.
Preview
The Light Blues head into the contest (9 January) looking to get back to winning ways after the setback against Hibs.
Any remaining hopes of a Scottish Premiership title challenge are in tatters after the result left them 13 points behind the league leaders.
It is now a case of damage limitation, reducing the gap at the top to as little as possible by the end of the campaign and gaining momentum for next season.

They will rue the two results before the win over Brendan Rodgers’s side, a loss to St. Mirren and a draw with Motherwell as they could have put huge pressure on if they had won both.
However, Clement deserves time to turn things around and he can start with a win against the Dark Blues.
The hosts enter the contest with just two wins in their last six league matches, so are not expected to trouble the Ibrox side.

Team News
The hosts are without Jordan McGhee, Antonio Portales, Ziyad Larkeche, and Billy Koumetio with doubts over the fitness of Scott Fraser and Joe Shaughnessy.
Meanwhile, John Souttar, James Tavernier, Neraysho Kasanwirjo, Tom Lawrence and Jack Butland are expected to miss the clash for the Gers on Thursday evening.
Dujon Sterling and Leon Balogun are doubts and Nicolas Raskin is suspended so Clement may be forced to shuffle up the pack again with Ridvan Yilmaz on the right side of defence and Leon King coming in at centre-back.
Predicted lineups
Dundee: Carson, Astley, Robertson, Graham, Mulligan, Cameron, Sylla, Tiffoney, Adewumi, Houlden, Murray.
Rangers: Kelly, Yilmaz, King, Propper, Jefte, Barron, Diomande, Cerny, Bajrami, Hagi, Igamane.
Where to watch?
The contest will be screened on Sky Sports Main Event and Football channels with coverage starting at 19:15 pm GMT.
Prediction: Dundee 0-2 Rangers
Despite their patchy form and injury issues, Rangers should get the job done on Thursday evening.
Clement needs to start picking up positive results and ensure that he keeps his job in the dugout.
Dundee are not a team that the Gers should struggle against as they have not kept a clean sheet in their last 13 matches.
