Rangers waiting with bated breath for Patrick Stewart transfer update

Rangers supporters will be waiting to hear from Patrick Stewart with bated breath after Philippe Clement’s latest update on transfers.

The Gers played out a thrilling 3-3 draw to Hibernian on Sunday (5 January) throwing away two leads in the clash at Easter Road.

That collapse shows that the Gers still need reinforcements in the transfer window as Clement’s side find themselves 10 points behind their arch-rivals.

Four Lads Had A Dream shared that the Belgian responded to a question on transfers by telling the media that they will have to wait to hear from the club’s new CEO for an update on that.

Rangers need reinforcements

The Gers’ embarrassing collapse at Easter Road highlighted the need for fresh impetus in the squad at Ibrox.

Clement desperately needs additions to his team to turn things around as the Light Blues struggle to keep pace with Brendan Rodgers’ side in the league.

They are now reduced to damage limitation, limiting the gap to the Bhoys by as much as possible to save face instead of being genuine contenders for the title.

The Belgian could find himself without a job soon despite a magnificent win over the Hoops on 2 January if results continue to underwhelm.

Investment could help him to save his job but that does not seem likely given the latest comments on additions at Ibrox which will be a crushing blow for Gers supporters and Clement.

The Gers currently find themselves in a perilous financial position and the latest comments suggest that it has not improved at all recently.
