Celtic instantly take swipe at Rangers in official full-time post
Celtic have taken an indirect swipe at Rangers in a post immediately following the full-time whistle in the 3-3 draw against Hibernian.
The Gers were in control of the Easter Road contest (5 January) before surrendering two leads in an embarrassing collapse for Philippe Clement.
The result leaves the Light Blues ten points behind their arch-rivals with the Bhoys set to host St.Mirren later today.
The Hoops uploaded an image of Brendan Rodgers giving a thumbs-up gesture in a post on X immediately after the Gers result was confirmed.
Rangers momentum slips away after Celtic win
It was thought that Clement had earned a stay of execution until the end of the season after the stunning 3-0 derby victory on 2 January which was his first victory over the Hoops in seven attempts.
However, he is immediately under pressure again after an embarrassing collapse in his side’s next match.
The Easter Road contest was a chance to put pressure on the Bhoys and gain momentum to take forward and try to reduce the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

However, that was not the case and now Rodgers’ side could increase their lead at the summit of the division to 13 points with victory at home to St.Mirren.
Clement’s Gers side seems to always take one step forward and then two steps back and surely his reign will come to an end sooner rather than later.
It is a case of damage limitation now rather than chasing Celtic down and it appears that the Light Blues Glasgow rivals know that with their latest social media post.
In other Rangers news, West Brom could be set to swoop for a Rangers star in the January window.
