Cyriel Dessers ready to leave Rangers after what fans have done
Rangers are actively looking to sell Cyriel Dessers in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.
The outlet reported via their website on 30 December that St. Etienne are leading the race to sign the striker in January, although clubs were reluctant to spend £4million on him in the summer.
Dessers, for his part, is “happy” to leave the Light Blues after the fans made it clear that they want him out of the club.

Dessers started the season as Philippe Clement’s first-choice striker, but failed to live up to expectations, scoring just three league goals between August and November.
Hamza Igamane has since made the number 9 shirt his own, having scored four Premiership goals in December alone.
With Danilo returning to full fitness, Dessers has fallen out of favour under Clement, although he was given a rare start in the 2-2 draw against Motherwell on Sunday, 29 December.
Therefore, it would not be a surprise if the Gers offloaded the Nigeria international when the transfer window opens this week.
They could use the money raised from his sale to fund signings in other positions.

While Rangers wanted £4m for Dessers in the summer, they are likely to have reduced the asking price ahead of January after the centre-forward’s poor run of form.
It remains to be seen how much St. Etienne are willing to spend on the former Genk frontman.
In other Rangers news, Kris Boyd has reacted to a “fortunate” controversial incident in the 2-2 draw against Motherwell.
