Rangers to go all out for Lennon Miller transfer, deal can be afforded
Rangers must surely go all out to try and sign Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller after his performance in Sunday’s 2-2 draw.
The Gers dropped another two points on Sunday at the hands of Motherwell with Miller playing a starring role, registering an assist for the second goal and impressing Neil McCann on Sky Sports Football as he lauded him a “brilliant player” while alluding to his maturity despite his age.
Rangers can afford the signing of Miller if they opt to go down that route in January, and after his showing on 29 December, they would be silly not to.
With the gap from Celtic now 14 points, any chance of league success looks dauntingly unlikely and Miller could be the player to spearhead a revival at Ibrox.

At just 18 years old, his performance against the Gers was paramount to the point that Motherwell picked up and Rangers would be daft if they didn’t attempt to sign him either in January or the following summer.
Miller has impressed consistently this season and his ability to create from midfield would be a welcome addition at Ibrox with years of development ahead of him.
The transfer window will provide an excellent opportunity to improve the squad and it’s one they simply have to take given their failures so far this season.
Rangers may require a major rebuild if they are to get back to their successes which have been few and far between ever since Steven Gerrard’s departure in 2021.
Given the result, many eyes may be on Rangers to see if any decision is made on the future of Philippe Clement with the league title now surely out of sight.
It will take far more than one signing to turn the tide at Ibrox, but if only one signing is made in January, let it be Miller.
