Todd Cantwell sends two-word message to Rangers star after 6-0 win v Kilmarnock
Todd Cantwell has sent a two-word message to Danilo after he scored for Rangers in their 6-0 win over Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Wednesday.
The striker took to social media to express his delight at scoring his first Scottish Premiership goal after returning from injury on 4 December.
AC Milan star Tijjani Reijnders was among those who were thrilled for the 25-year-old as he posted a flexed bicep and a heart emoji, while Cantwell also chimed in.
“Yes dannyyyy”, the former Gers ace wrote.

Cantwell forced his way out of Ibrox in the summer, but remains a topic of conversation for various reasons.
Keith Jackson of the Daily Record recently insisted that it was Philippe Clement who pushed the attacker out of the club and even dubbed the decision “bizarre” [Daily Record’s Hotline podcast, 2 December].
Cantwell, meanwhile, has hit the ground running at Blackburn Rovers after joining them for £500,000 [The Scottish Sun], grabbing one goal and three assists in 13 Championship games.
He netted his first goal for the Ewood Park outfit in their 1-0 win against Leeds United on Saturday [30 November] and celebrated it with a dance.

The celebration was similar to the one he pulled off with Danilo after scoring in the Light Blues’ 2-1 victory over Sparta Prague in the UEFA Europa League in November last year.
Clement was spotted racing towards the pair and gesturing for them to get on with the game on that occasion [Four Lads Had A Dream, 9 November 2023].
It appears Cantwell and Danilo have remained good friends despite not playing together anymore.
In other Rangers news, Chris Jack has shared a new sporting director claim at Ibrox, with a “non-negotiable” verdict also issued.
