Nedim Bajrami lauded by David Edgar after what he did in Rangers v Kilmarnock

Rangers attacker Nedim Bajrami was lauded by David Edgar after his performance in the 6-0 win v Kilmarnock on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old came off the bench at Ibrox on 4 December and played a role in the fifth goal, scored by Cyriel Dessers.

He played a sharp ball into the box which was slotted into the back of the net by the Nigerian.

Raving over Bajrami, Heart and Hand’s Edgar wrote on X: “5-0! Great play by Bajrami, terrific cross and finished by Cyriel Dessers. Flag goes up but VAR overrules.”

Rangers fans treated to quality football at Ibrox.

Philippe Clement will undoubtedly be thrilled with not only the starting eleven but also the effectiveness of his substitutes during the match against Kilmarnock.

Dessers and Bajrami’s contributions from the bench, exemplify the depth and quality within the squad.

This ability to make game-changing impacts from the bench is precisely what fans crave to see.

It indicates a well-coached team where every player, regardless of starting status, is prepared to make a difference and it needs to happen week in and week out.

Unfortunately for them, such displays have been isolated which is what has led them to be frustrated with Clement.

Fans appreciate this level of preparedness and performance, knowing that their team can rely on a robust squad for any challenge.
