Philippe Clement has no option with Rangers team news decision v Ross County
Philippe Clement will have taken plenty from a huge win for Rangers over Kilmarnock, and must act accordingly against Ross County.
It was a night everything came together at Ibrox on Wednesday [4 December], featuring some bold calls made from the Belgian including several key changes to his starting XI, and he simply must continue that momentum into Ross County on Sunday [8 December].
The 6-0 scoreline from the battering of Kilmarnock replicated that of the last meeting with Sunday’s (8 December) opponents back in August at Hampden Park.
And with plenty of chaos having ensued since, some stability would not go amiss with an unchanged line-up from Clement as long as everyone is fit.
Rangers should not tweak starting XI for Sunday
Rangers have appeared to approach certain games with apprehension this season, when at times they shouldn’t have.
It has inhibited them slightly at times, with the last contest against Kilmarnock a prime example as Gers fell to a 1-0 away defeat back in October.
Clement knew changes were required from a determined but gritty 1-0 win at St Johnstone last Sunday [1 December], and fielded one of his most attack-minded line-ups in a long time in midweek.

It was endearing to see players who have struggled at times this term get their due rewards for digging in, which to an extent includes Cyriel Dessers, much maligned but off the bench to bag a second-half brace.
That sort of competition is vital to push the squad on as a unit, and take a weight off the shoulders of Clement as he attempts to revive the fate of the campaign.
