Cyriel Dessers starts, three changes – Rangers predicted XI v Kilmarnock
Philippe Clement could be tempted to rotate his team when Rangers host Kilmarnock on Wednesday, with Cyriel Dessers and Ridvan Yilmaz possibly coming into the starting XI.
Hamza Igamane kept his place in the team when the Gers beat St. Johnstone 1-0 at the weekend after scoring twice in the 4-0 Europa League win over Nice on 28 November, but could make way for Dessers at Ibrox on 4 December.
Yilmaz, meanwhile, played the second half of the game on Sunday [1 December] and the next step for him is to play around 60 minutes as a starter, which would see Jefte drop out.
Mohamed Diomande could come in for Ianis Hagi in Clement’s third and final change, although the Romania international impressed against St. Johnstone.
Clement to hand Dessers and Yilmaz starts in Rangers v Kilmarnock
There will be no surprises in goal, with Jack Butland continuing as the number one. Dujon Sterling is an injury doubt for Wednesday’s clash, meaning James Tavernier will keep his place at right-back alongside John Souttar and Robin Propper.
Similarly, Clement is likely to stick with his trusted central midfield pairing of Nicolas Raskin and Connor Barron, although Diomande could start in the advanced midfield role. Vaclav Cerny has been one of Rangers’ best players this season and it is hard to see him being dropped.
The Belgian could switch things by bringing Ross McCausland on for Nedim Bajrami, but there is no evidence to suggest that will be the case as things stand.

Dessers would then complete the lineup by starting up front. However, the decision to drop Igamane may not go down well among the Gers faithful. Danilo, meanwhile, is among those likely to get some minutes off the bench.
With the Light Blues playing Ross County in the league this weekend before facing Tottenham and Celtic on 12 and 15 December, Clement needs to manage his best players accordingly.
