Clement ‘done’ at Rangers as Four Lads drop Ibrox manager verdict

Philippe Clement is “done” at Rangers after they dropped two points against Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership, Four Lads believes.

Ibrox hosted the Tangerines on 23 November, and Vaclav Cerny’s goal after the break cancelled Sam Dalby’s first-half strike as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Rangers are now 11 points behind Celtic in the league table, and taking to X after the game, Four Lads Had A Dream outlined the need for a change in the Light Blues’ dugout.

“Said it weeks ago that the manager was done, many said it way before then. We will continue to limp on with dismal performance after performance, this is our level now whilst he remains,” said the Gers fan media page.

“Time for change.”

Philippe Clement needs to leave Rangers

Clement has been on the brink of being sacked this season after several terrible performances from the Bears.

The Belgian has been unable to progress on the good work he did in the previous campaign, and the Glaswegian club have regressed over the last few months.

Rangers are third in the league table, and it seems unlikely they’ll be able to catch up with their Old Firm rivals at the top.

The only reason one can think that the 50-year-old is still in charge is the fact that the Light Blues aren’t in the best financial condition at the moment, posting a loss of £17.2 million in their recent accounts.

While Clement hasn’t been helped by some of the players’ performances, at the end of the day, the manager is responsible for getting the best out of them.

The Belgian head coach’s dismissal seems inevitable at this point, and it’s only a matter of time before the Ibrox faithful turn their attention to the boardroom, with the mood against the manager already sour.

In other Rangers news, the Glaswegian club are set to hire Patric Stewart as they make a double swoop.
