Rabbi Matondo fitness claim shared for Rangers v Dundee United
Rabbi Matondo may be ready for a late fitness test for the Rangers clash against Dundee United as he aims to return from injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that it’s a positive sign he’s returned to training but it has been a while and there has been no progress in him getting closer to a first-team return.
Gers host Dundee United at Ibrox on 23 November and the Welshman could get one half of football if he is cleared but nothing appears to be concrete, as things stand.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “He has returned to full first-team training so that’s a positive.
“However, it has been a while since that’s happened and no real developments towards him making the matchday squad.
“He could be ready for the weekend as he would’ve used the international break to return to fitness, and if he is to play, he would require a late fitness test and likely to be restricted to one half or 60 minutes.“
Rangers need Rabbi Matondo’s attacking flair
Matondo has the ability to be a difference maker in the final third and Philippe Clement will certainly be awaiting his return.
He’s capable of playing on either wing and can be a real menace for defenders on his day.

For a side that’s struggling to break down opponents, having a direct runner like Matondo could make all the difference.
In other Rangers news, a new twist has emerged as Philippe Clement has been linked with the Belgium head coach role.
