Nedim Bajrami faces axe in four changes after new development – Rangers predicted XI v Aberdeen
Philippe Clement could drop Nedim Bajrami in four changes after confirming that Tom Lawrence is available to feature against Aberdeen after a spell out injured.
The Gers travel to Pittodrie on Wednesday (30 October) as they look to close the gap at the top of the league, which stands at six points.
Clement’s side are in a positive vein of form after wins against FCSB and St Mirren in their last two games and could be handed a boost by welcoming Lawrence and John Souttar back to into the starting XI.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on 29 October, Clement said: “Tom Lawrence and John Souttar will be available. We will see if it is for 90 or not tomorrow.”
Philippe Clement has Tom Lawrence decision to make for Rangers v Aberdeen
Despite back-to-back wins at Ibrox, the clash against The Dons is as close to must-win as possible at this stage of the season.
As a result, the Belgian needs to name the strongest possible side as he goes in search of a much-needed three points to bring his side closer to the title race.
With that being said, two changes could be made to the backline with James Tavernier and Souttar replacing Robin Propper and Neraysho Kasanwirjo. This duo could join Jack Butland, Leon Balogun and Jefte, who look good value to keep their spots in the side.
The midfield three could be maintained by Clement, with Mohammed Diomande set to start just ahead of Nico Raskin and Connor Barron.

There is a chance that Lawrence comes straight into the starting XI, which would likely see Bajrami drop to the bench. Vaclav Cerny could join Lawrence on the opposite flank after hitting some strong form.
The wide men could be joined by Cyriel Dessers in the forward line, with the Nigerian hopeful of starting ahead of Hamza Igamane at Pittodrie.
