Rangers prepare Nedim Bajrami announcement with new transfer ready
Rangers are preparing to announce the signing of Nedim Bajrami from Sassuolo, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper reported on its website (30 August) that the Gers are closing in on their second arrival on deadline day, with the Albanian keen to link up with Philippe Clement.
This comes after Neraysho Kasanwirjo passed his medical [Chris Jack, 30 August] and became Clement’s first arrival of the day.
Nedim Bajrami is a solid addition for Rangers
The deal to bring the midfielder to Ibrox is said to be worth around £3.3million [Gianluca Di Marzio, 30 August] and addresses one of the key issues of creativity in the squad.
It’s been quite a slow day for Gers fans up until this point with it looking like only Kasanwirjo would be added to the squad at one stage.
However, Clement seems to have pulled another transfer out of the bag and the Gers now find themselves in a far stronger position than what they started their day with.

A couple of exits from the Gers’ attack have occurred so it’s nice to know that the Belgian manager had an idea in his head regarding what his plan for the team was.
Although there is still a few hours left for moves to be made, should the Glasgow-based outfit end the day with just the two new additions, fans can be somewhat pleased.
