Rangers get deadline day encouragement after bid made for Ibrahim Adel

Rangers are Getafe are both keen on securing the services of Pyramids winger Ibrahim Adel, according to the Daily Record.

The news outlet reported on 30 August via its transfer blog that sources claim Getafe have made a bid for the 23-year-old but it has been rejected.

Rangers still appear to have a chase to seal the transfer of Ibrahim Adel

Adel would certainly be a difference maker in the final third and Gers must do everything they can to secure his services.

With Getafe’s bid being rejected, it’s not like they’re in the driver’s seat either.

This makes it an open race until the window closes and perhaps a ploy from Pyramids to see who’ll be offering more.

If Gers can agree personal terms with the player, that’ll be half the battle for them to secure his services.

The onus will then be on the Egyptian to put pressure on his club to accept the offer made by Rangers.

If anything is to be done, it needs to be done right away or else Gers may end up missing out on the services.
