Josip Brekalo to pass medical as Rangers transfer update emerges
Josip Brekalo is unlikely to have issues with clearing his Rangers medical despite erratic game time last season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that while Gers will monitor the 26-year-old Croatia international’s workload, he’s not in the high-risk category.
This comes after TuttoMercatoWeb reported on 29 August that Gers are eyeing an eleventh-hour swoop for the winger who plays for Fiorentina.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“The fact he had an uptick of game time in the second half of last season would be more relevant than the first half.
“It’s still something to consider and monitor his overall workload.
“That being said, I do not expect this to cause any issues with his medical.“
Josip Brekalo could be an important signing for Rangers
The Croatia international can add a lot of quality down the left flank for the Ibrox outfit and there’s no surprise he’s a target.
Philippe Clement knows that he needs game changers in order to beat Celtic to the SPFL title this season.

Hopefully, Gers manage to find an agreement with Fiorentina and they can complete his signing before the 11pm deadline.
In other Rangers news, the Ibrox outfit have now been given the green signal to secure the services of an exit-bound Premier League player.
