Todd Cantwell update emerges as Rangers exit talks set for Wednesday
Rangers playmaker Todd Cantwell is yet to agree terms with Blackburn ahead of a potential move, according to Sky Sports.
The broadcaster has reported on its live blog [28 August, 11:24] that Cantwell will hold talks with the English Championship club over a move on Wednesday.
It is believed that a deal can be struck between the two clubs after the attacker submitted a transfer request earlier in the window to Philippe Clement.
Todd Cantwell to agree Rangers exit?
It was earlier reported that a low fee has already been accepted by the Light Blues [Alan Nixon], although some finer details still need to be ironed out, it seems.
With players needing to be sold before Rangers can bring in anyone new in these final two days of the window, deals like this are gold dust.
Clement is said to be desperate to get Cantwell off the books [Daily Record], so it will be great to get this one done swiftly enough to open the incomings door.

Clement will be delighted if this gets done quickly, with senior players sitting in the B team doing nothing to help his cause at Ibrox and Auchenhowie.
Cantwell has somewhat disgraced himself with his actions over the summer after speaking out so loudly throughout last season while not performing.
It has been a solid start to the domestic season without too many reinforcements, so a couple of fresh faces in the final third should help that.
As for Cantwell? Good riddance.
In other Rangers news, a first-team player has been offered £25k/week wages to become the No.1 earner as a transfer is likely before 30 August.
