Rangers now set for medical as Robin Propper transfer agreed to replace Connor Goldson at Ibrox
Rangers have agreed a deal for their ninth signing of the transfer window with Robin Propper now set for a medical at the club, Sky Sports report.
According to an update on their website on 31 July (11.04am) the FC Twente defender is now expected to have tests ahead of his move to Glasgow.
The Light Blues have reached an agreement for the centre-back after selling forward Sam Lammers in the opposite direction just days ago.
Propper follows Václav Černý, Hamza Igamane, Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, Liam Kelly, Connor Barron and Oscar Cortes in this summer, with the latter returned after a loan last season, while Mohamed Diomande made his loan move permanent.
Philippe Clement set to land experienced new Rangers defender
The transfer window looked to have ground to a halt after a host of early moves to sign talented youngsters as Philippe Clement revealed he had to sell in order to buy.
But now that Lammers and Connor Goldson have both completed permanent exits to Twente and Aris Limassol respectively the Belgain and Nils Koppen are not wasting any time in getting older players in.
Wolfsburg winger Cerny has arrived on loan and Propper would fill the gap left by the departed defender, with the central-defensive options looking thin otherwise.

Propper has made 115 appearances for the Eredivisie side in three seasons so appears to be a durable option for a club who have been plagued by injuries.
Fans will hope that he is more commanding than Ben Davies and more consistent than John Souttar after a mixed bag in terms of signings at the position in recent windows.
