Rangers should make an official move for Hannibal Mejbri this summer

Rangers acquiring the services of Hannibal this season would be a real statement of intent from the club.

It’s evident that Philippe Clement wanted to make many changes within the squad this season with the likes of Connor Barron and Jefte already arriving.

Clement has also had a clear idea in mind of the type of profile he would be targeting this summer.

A lot of the club’s stalwarts such as Ryan Jack have been let go this season in a bid to try to improve their luck against arch-rivals Celtic.

Hannibal is a stellar talent and although his time with Sevilla didn’t live up to how many would have hoped, the fact that a La Liga side saw enough in him to bring him to Spain’s top division. showcases the sheer amount of talent he possesses.

His favoured position is that of attacking-midfielder but he has on occasion been deployed on either flank.

Nothing is concrete in terms of a deal yet but the fact that the Gers are being linked with such quality, showcases the club’s mindset this term.
