Rangers news as Sheffield Wednesday ramp up Scott Wright transfer interest
Sheffield Wednesday have ramped up their interest in recent days to sign Rangers attacker Scott Wright, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper reported via its online edition on 6 July that the 26-year-old has been tipped to leave Ibrox for a while.
As per Ibrox Noise on 21 June, Gers are ready to listen to offers and cash in on the Scottish winger this summer.
Rangers must offer Scott Wright around to increase his transfer value
Gers should actively market Wright to increase his transfer value as his deal set to expire in 2025, which means his value will decrease as the contract nears its end.
By offering him to interested clubs now, they can capitalise on his current market value.
The 25-year-old’s lack of goals and assists prove that he is not a key player for the club and his injury record suggests he is unlikely to improve in the future.
However, by showcasing his potential to other clubs, the Ibrox outfit could attract offers that reflect his perceived value rather than his actual performance.
To further increase his transfer value, they could highlight Wright’s versatility as a winger and his experience in European competitions.

Additionally, they could emphasise his age and the fact that the 26-year-old still has plenty of room for development.
In other Rangers news, a player decided to seal an Ibrox exit this summer the moment he found out a British club wanted to sign him.
