Rangers striker Danilo medical claim emerges amid recent transfer development
The knee injury could be a reason why Danilo would fail his medical should he leave Rangers this summer, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that while he has overcome the hamstring issues in the earlier stage of his career, this is one thing that could be a deterrent.
This comes after it has been reported that the Brazilian’s Ibrox exit this summer is increasingly likely, according to Give Me Sport.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“Overall, he’s certainly had his share of issues but it does look like he got over the hamstring problems that plagued him early on in his career.
“However, he had a significant knee injury so that will be the key area for concern, if there is any, in terms of potentially failing a medical.
“He will currently be in the final stages of his rebab, but things can go wrong at any time so he’ll have to be very careful.“
Rangers must stick with Danilo for another season
Gers should retain the Brazilian due to his potential to become a key player once he fully recovers from his injury.
His previous performances, including scoring crucial goals and his dynamic play, suggest he can be a valuable asset to the team.
Additionally, his versatility in playing multiple attacking positions provides tactical flexibility for Philippe Clement.

Given the significant investment made in acquiring him, with a reported £6million fee [Sky Sports], Rangers should allow him time to regain fitness and form, which could prove beneficial in the long term.
In other Rangers news, a first-team player is close to agreeing on personal terms with another Ibrox exit on the cards this summer.
