Four Lads react as Rangers announce Oscar Cortes transfer at Ibrox
Four Lads Had A Dream have reacted after Rangers confirmed the loan signing of Oscar Cortes ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The club confirmed that the Gers have re-signed the 20-year-old winger on a season-long loan, including an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign.
Cortes made just seven appearances in front of the Ibrox crowd before suffering an injury that has kept him out of the team since February, though the club feel they have seen enough of the player already.
Taking to X after the announcement on Monday (3 June), Four Lads wrote: “Oscar Cortes completes his move to Rangers. Looking forward to seeing a lot more of him,” with a clapping emoji.
Rangers re-sign Oscar Cortes on loan from Lens
It is understandable as to why the Gers are so keen to keep Cortes at the club, having hit the ground running with one goal and two assists in his opening seven appearances.
Rangers are set for a major rebuild this summer, with the likes of Borna Barisic, Ryan Jack and John Lundstram already leaving, while Jefte has already been signed as a full-back replacement.

The club wanted Jefte during the January transfer window but was unable to secure his signature, so the first transfer decision this window was always going to be for the 20-year-old from Fluminense.
The Brazilian will offer some cover at left-back, while Cortes will be a very welcomed addition on the flanks, with Abdallah Sima’s future up in the air, Rabbi Matondo’s injury history and Ross McCausland being the only other natural winger in the team.
It looks as though Nils Koppen is going to be a very busy man across the summer to give Clement exactly what he wants at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, a club “want nothing more” than to sign this Ibrox star this summer.
