Danilo drops hint over Oscar Cortes transfer decision at Rangers with Instagram post
Danilo has dropped a telling hint over the future of Rangers loanee Oscar Cortes with a post on social media.
The Gers forward uploaded a video of himself and Cortes training in Gers gear, seemingly at the club’s training base.
The post on Danilo’s personal Instagram page [27 May] implies that Cortes is continuing his recovery from injury with Rangers.
Oscar Cortes looks likely to stay on at Rangers
And given the campaign is over, that goes a long way to suggesting that the Light Blues intend to keep Cortes on next season.
Rangers have the option to turn Cortes’ loan deal, which saw him arrive from Monaco in January, into a permanent transfer this summer.
It is not known when a decision has to be made by, but the fact the Colombian is still in Glasgow makes it seem pretty clear what the future holds.

Cortes will be disappointed not to have made more of an impact in the second half of the season, having been struck down by injury in February.
The left-sided attacker certainly caught the eye when used, though, thanks to his goal and assist in the 5-0 win over Hearts.
With Jefte already on board and at least a few others set to join, retaining Cortes also makes perfect sense from the Gers’ perspective.
