Rangers transfer news as Sam Lammers price admission emerges amid Utrecht links

Heart and Hand believe that the price Rangers will sell Sam Lammers for has gone up after his goal for FC Utrecht on 23 May.

The Dutchman has enjoyed his loan move to the Eredivisie outfit and played a key role in ensuring his side picked up a 3-1 victory on Thursday.

Since moving to Utrecht, he has scored 11 goals in 19 league games which has seen the Dutch club express an interest to secure his services permanently.

Rangers should see Sam Lammers for inflated transfer fee

Due to Lammers’ exceptional performance at Utrecht, where he has become the highest scorer in the league for his club with nine goals and set a new club record for consecutive strikes, Gers are in a strong position to negotiate a transfer fee that reflects his current value.

His success in the Eredivisie has attracted attention from Utrecht and other clubs, potentially driving up his price tag.

This, coupled with the fact that Gers initially invested £3.5million in the 27-year-old, gives them the leverage to secure a significant transfer fee.

This financial boost could be reinvested into the squad, strengthening the first team for future competitions.

Lammers won April’s Player of the Month so it’s clear that he’s among the best if not the best at the Dutch club.

Hopefully, negotiations go well among the two clubs and Gers can use that money wisely on new signings.
