Ridvan Yilmaz could bid farewell v Celtic at Hampden as Rangers transfer update emerges
Ridvan Yilmaz could be set to wave goodbye to the Ibrox faithful when Rangers face Celtic at Hampden Park on Saturday (25 May).
The Old Firm rivals are set to go head-to-head for the final time this season as they meet in the Scottish Cup final in an attempt to claim another piece of silverware.
Yilmaz has experienced his fair share of Old Firm chaos since arriving from Bekitas last summer, though this could be his last as the summer transfer window approaches.
It is expected that the 23-year-old could leave Ibrox if a “big-money” offer were to come in and it seems that Philippe Clement has already found an ideal replacement at Ibrox.
According to Perfil Da Central [21 May], the Gers have completed a deal to sign Fluminense’s Jefte from July 1, despite late interest from his latest loan club, APOEL.
Having seen a move for the 20-year-old Brazilian fall through in January, it looks like Rangers are set to finally get their man this summer as the club is set for a major rebuild.
Jefte signing could force Ridvan Yilmaz out of Rangers
Despite being at the club for just two seasons, Yilmaz could be ready to say his goodbyes to the Ibrox faithful. He has been through a lot of ups and downs but finally seems settled with Clement as manager.
However, with strong interest from the 23-year-old in January, the new signing of a young, exciting full-back could spell the end of his spell in Scotland.

The Turkish player became a favourite of Clement since the Belgian arrived in October, having made 15 Scottish Premiership starts, though injuries have slowed down his development in recent weeks.
It is an extremely sensible idea for the club to search for backups this summer, building some squad depth, but this could push players like Yilmaz away.
