Rangers fans have every right to rage at embarrassing Fabio Silva after Wolves loanee Instagram post

Rangers fans have every right to slam Fabio Silva after he made an Instagram post about his goal despite conceding a last-minute equaliser against Hearts on Saturday (18 May).

The Gers ended the Scottish Premiership campaign in frustrating circumstances as they drew 3-3 away at Tynecastle Park.

Despite taking the lead on 69 minutes, Philippe Clement’s side could only take a point away as Kyosuke Tagawa scored in the 95th minute to level the scores.

The result almost summed up the season for the Light Blues which is why fans weren’t best pleased with Silva’s post after the game.

Fabio Silva Instagram post slammed by Rangers fans

The loanee from Wolves took to Instagram (18 May) to say: “It wasn’t enough for us to win the last game of the Premiership. All thoughts for Saturday’s game.”

The “it” in question was his fourth goal of the season which made it 3-1 to the Gers before Hearts scored two late on.

Fans have slammed the Portuguese forward for his post suggesting he only cares about himself as opposed to the result.

There is no comment about the result being frustrating or anything like that, just talking about his goal with four pictures of him celebrating.

He’ll be back off to the Premier League at the end of the season so just wants to do what he can to further his own career.

Given that Rangers have just lost out on a third title in a row to Celtic, players should be frustrated and wanting to show fans they care.

It is safe to say that Silva hasn’t done himself any favours with fans ahead of the Scottish Cup final.
