Todd Cantwell sends message as Rangers exit confirmation emerges
Todd Cantwell and Ianis Hagi have sent messages to Kemar Roofe after he confirmed that he is leaving Rangers at the end of the season.
The striker took to Instagram (15 May) to thank the Gers’ fans for their support after his final appearance at Ibrox against Dundee.
Roofe came off the bench with just seven minutes remaining and has now confirmed he will depart the club this summer.
In reaction to this, Cantwell said: “Roooffffffffeeeee.”
While Hagi wished him well saying: “All the best my brother.”
Should Rangers be letting Kemar Roofe leave?
It has been a tough campaign for the Jamaican given the lack of minutes he has featured in, in the Scottish Premiership.
This has seen him feature across just 456 minutes where he has scored just once while he has failed to assist a goal [FotMob].
Roofe has failed to live up to the form that he showed in his first two campaigns at Ibrox where he was electric after his move from Anderlecht.
He scored 18 goals in all competitions in his first season before following that up with 16 in his second.

Since then he has managed to score just four goals as he has only been fit enough to make 30 appearances since 2022.
Roofe is clearly well-liked by his teammates but with his lack of regular fitness and form, it feels like time for a parting of ways for both parties.
His future is confirmed and the Gers will now be after an attacker to replace him this summer.
