Leon King gets rare start in five changes – Confirmed Rangers XI v Dundee
Philippe Clement has made five changes to his Rangers starting lineup for the final Ibrox game of the season against Dundee.
Academy graduate Leon King makes his first start of the season in the absence of John Souttar, Leon Balogun and Connor Goldson alongside Ben Davies in central defence, while Ridvan Yilmaz returns to the starting lineup at left-back ahead of Borna Barisic.
Nicolas Raskin starts in place of the suspended John Lundstram in midfield, while Todd Cantwell and Ross McCausland start in attack ahead of Dujon Sterling and Tom Lawrence.
Youngsters Alex Lowry, Johnly Yfeko, Robbie Fraser and Cole McKinnon are also named on the bench in a much-changed side.
Rangers stars playing for pride and their Ibrox future
Philippe Clement has made it clear that there will be changes at Ibrox this summer in the transfer window, with a “mini-revolution” even mooted in reports.
Obviously not everyone can leave the club but there will be priorities in the mind of the manager and that can be decided in the final three games of the season with the title race now over.
There is still a Scottish Cup final to come against Celtic, but the manager will likely already know the team he wants to play in that game depending on the injury situation he is facing at the time.
Several youngsters may also get the opportunity from the substitutes bench to prove they can play a role in the squad next season, while there is a chance for some goodbyes too.
It’s an interesting lineup but it’s still more than strong enough to get a win at Ibrox and force Celtic to do their job to wrap up the title.
