John Lundstram now set to leave Rangers
John Lundstram now seems set to quit Rangers in the coming weeks, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [14 May, pg 71] that with Trabzonspor keen, the midfielder is set for the exit door at Ibrox.
With his contract running out this summer, Lundstram was sent off in the 2-1 defeat to Celtic on Saturday 11 May, as fans welcome his potential move.
John Lundstram to seal transfer away from Rangers?
The red card was the final straw for many fans at Ibrox, with his own goal also handing the three points and the Scottish Premiership title to Celtic.
Although some debate, it was a shocking challenge on Alistair Johnston and one that didn’t even need to be made in that area of the pitch, making it even worse.
It looked like he was trying to sign off in some aggressive sort of style, but after months of leaving contract talks in limbo, actions speak louder than words.
Trabzonspor are said to have been given the green light to sign Lundstram, and his mind may already be on the plane to Turkey to start a new life.

You only have to look at Ryan Kent to show that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, with his career flopping massively since his move to Turkey.
Let’s see what happens, but it looks as though Lundstram has burned his bridges in Glasgow already.
