Philippe Clement gives seven players Ibrox farewell – Rangers predicted XI v Dundee
Philippe Clement is set to give seven players a potential farewell at Ibrox when Rangers take on Dundee on Tuesday 14 May.
The Gers all but conceded the SPFL title with a 2-1 defeat to Celtic on Saturday 11 May, meaning the Hoops need just one point from the final two games of the season to confirm a 12th championship in 13 years.
And with the clash against Dundee being the final game of the season at Ibrox, the manager could look to give some players a farewell appearance ahead of what is expected to be a “mini-revolution” in the summer transfer window.
Rangers set to let several players leave this summer
Jack Butland is someone who the club are expecting to receive bids for this summer, but there is no intention to let him leave despite his wish to leave and he is likely to continue between the sticks after a fine personal season.
Captain James Tavernier is also likely to keep his place in the team in what could be his final Ibrox appearance, with a move to Saudi Arabia strongly mooted amid interest from Steven Gerrard.
John Souttar, Leon Balogun and Connor Goldson are among 11 players missing through injury for this game, so Dujon Sterling is likely to fill in at centre-back again alongside Ben Davies who is also expected to leave this summer.
At left-back Ridvan Yilmaz returned as a substitute against Celtic, but with Barisic set to move to Trabzonspor at the end of his contract this will be his last chance to say goodbye to the home fans.
John Lundstram is suspended after his red card at the weekend, so Nicolas Raskin should get a rare start after a strong performance off the bench. But the Belgian is said to be unhappy at a lack of game time recently and could leave in the summer. He will be partnered by Clement’s midfield signing Mohammed Diomande.

Ahead of them youngster Ross McCausland should get a rare start after impressing this season, but his fellow attackers could all be saying goodbye.
Scott Wright was supposed to leave last summer before a move to Turkey collapsed, so this summer is likely to be his last, while Kieran Dowell has barely featured under Clement since his arrival.
Up front Kemar Roofe is out of contract and should get the nod in attack, with Cyriel Dessers’ role as the first-choice striker for the cup final not in doubt.
