Rangers ace Danilo surprises fans with Scottish Cup final prediction
Danilo has confirmed that he is looking to make his Rangers injury return in the Scottish Cup final against Celtic on 25 May.
The Brazilian suffered a serious injury to his knee against Hearts on 6 December, which has seen him ruled out ever since.
After his injury, he had to undergo surgery and he has posted some moments of his rehabilitation on his social media.
Now speaking live on his TikTok [9 May], the striker has set his sights on a return which surprisingly may come before the end of the season.
He said: “When I’m back, nobody will be ready for the comeback. The comeback will be hard. I’m going to be back and you guys will see that. I’m doing my best to be fit.
“I hope and I’ll do my best to be at the cup final. Hopefully. But I cannot promise, that’s difficult. I love you Rangers family, I love you all. Scotland is blue, there are no words anymore.”
What will Danilo add to Rangers on his return?
Danilo, 25, has only managed to play 12 games in the Scottish Premiership with five of those coming as starts.
In that time he scored four goals and provided one assist as well as another goal in the Europa League, a great return in a short spell.
His injury came at a frustrating time given that he had hit the ground running at Ibrox in terms of scoring and assisting.
If he can make it back in some capacity in the Scottish Cup final it will stand him in good stead for a pre-season to make the start of next season.
Danilo provides a physical presence and likes the ball in the air to cause problems for opposition defenders.

With that being said, he does like to get the ball on the floor and dribble forward and get a shot off where he can.
Next season, with him, Cyriel Dessers and possibly a new arrival, Rangers will have a good range of firepower available.
