New Jack Butland clash footage emerges on TikTok, you can hear what Rangers fan shouts at him
New footage of Jack Butland clashing with a Rangers fan outside Ibrox has been shared on social media platform TikTok.
Butland was involved in an exchange of words with at least one supporter as he left the ground following last weekend’s win over Kilmarnock.
TikTok user @jemma5611 shared a clip of the exchange on her personal account on Wednesday (8 May).
While it is still not clear exactly what started the verbal altercation, a fan can be heard saying “I pay your wages” to the goalkeeper as he turned away.
Another is heard shouting “you’re an embarrassment”, although it is not known if that was directed at Butland or a fellow Gers supporter.

This is a rather bizarre episode that has come at a very bad time for Rangers ahead of the Old Firm showdown with Celtic.
Philippe Clement would have been desperate for a stress-free week heading into that game, but it was not to be.
Butland, as a reminder, was last month crowned Rangers’ Player of the Season after a stellar first 12 months or so at Ibrox.
Quite why a supporter, or possibly supporters, turned on him is unknown. One suggestion is there was a complaint over how little time he spends with fans after games.

Butland owes it to nobody to sign autographs. Indeed, many players simply get in their cars after matches and drive straight home without any sort of interaction.
It was not long ago that he showed his admiration to a Rangers fan following the first postponement of the Dundee game.
