Rangers predicted XI v St Mirren: Philippe Clement drops John Souttar
Rangers will be looking to continue their winning run after beating Hearts when they take on St Mirren in the SPFL.
Philippe Clement’s side will travel to St Mirren Park on Sunday, 28 April, and know that a win is essential in this one and all games until the end of the season.
There could be a few changes he decides to make in order to keep things fresh over the weekend.
Philippe Clement may make three changes to his Rangers side
Connor Goldson was dropped against Hearts and Leon Balogun came in for him.
The Nigeria international put in a stellar shift and was undoubtedly one of the best players on the pitch.
There is no reason to drop him and Goldson could come in for John Souttar, who’s been a first-team regular this season.
In midfield, John Lundstram has struggled recently and this could see Dujon Sterling playing there and Borna Barisic replacing him at left-back.
This is assuming that Ridvan Yilmaz is ruled out of the game and there will be an injury update provided on him by Friday.

The final change sees Tom Lawrence replacing Todd Cantwell in the number 10 role behind Cyriel Dessers with Cantwell moving out wide in place of the injured Abdallah Sima.
In other Rangers news, a “horrible” player is now left with just a handful games to save his career at Ibrox amid recent criticism.
