Rangers predicted XI v Hearts: John Lundstram and Todd Cantwell dropped

Philippe Clement will be hoping Rangers return to winning ways when they take on Hearts on Sunday, 21 April.

Gers travel to Hampden Park to take on Hearts in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup with the Belgian eyeing another trophy this season.

However, recent performances have shown that he may need to shake things up in order to get his side to perform to their expectations again.

Philippe Clement’s team news for Rangers v Hearts

In the pre-match press conference, the Belgian confirmed that Mohamed Diomande is back in action and given the club’s struggles to control games in his absence, he will be back in the playing eleven.

He also confirmed that Ridvan Yilmaz still may not be back which could see Borna Barisic starting at left-back.

In the draw against Dundee, Dujon Sterling started at left-back but he could now move into central midfield – his preferred position.

The exit-linked John Lundstram, who has not been exceptional over the past few weeks, could be dropped with Diomande starting alongside Sterling in midfield.

At number 10, Todd Cantwell has struggled recently and will be dropped with Ross McCausland coming into the side to play on the right while Tom Lawrence can plan in Cantwell’s position.

On the left, Fabio Silva has struggled recently and Abdallah Sima can take up that role, no questions asked.
