Rangers: Tom English makes Celtic gifts admission after what he noticed
Tom English has attacked Rangers for a hapless 0-0 draw against Dundee as he believes they’ve gifted the title to Celtic.
The BBC journalist reacted right after full time as Philippe Clement’s side failed to win their game in hand to put pressure on their cross-town rivals.
Gers are now three points adrift of Celtic and will need to win the Old Firm derby by three clear goals to control their destiny.
Via Twitter, English wrote: “Comfortable point for Dundee and a totally deserved boost to their push for Europe. For Rangers, a washout, so to speak. Celtic didn’t need gifts from their rivals in order to win the league, but they’re getting them anyway. Rangers needed to be intense but were just so…blah.”
Rangers handing the title to Celtic is shameful
The result not only failed to put pressure on their rivals Celtic but also significantly decreased Gers’ chances of winning the league.
Their lack of intensity and creativity in the game was particularly concerning, as they failed to break down a well-organised Dundee defence.
This display has put Rangers in a precarious position, now needing to win their next Old Firm derby by a big margin to control their destiny in the title race.
This poor performance has been attributed to them gifting the title to Celtic, as they have dropped four points from their last two games.
Clement rightly must come under scrutiny for his team’s lack of form in these crucial matches.
The pressure is mounting on the Belgian to find solutions and inspire his team to perform at a higher level.

With their title hopes hanging by a thread, Gers need to show significant improvement and a return to the intensity and creativity that has been missing in their recent displays.
