Rangers: Sky Sports pundit shares what he now expects Philippe Clement to do v Dundee

Kenny Miller says he would not be surprised to see multiple changes made by Phillipe Clement when Rangers take on Dundee.

The Gers suffered a 3-2 loss at Ross County on Sunday (14 April) and must now respond when they face Dundee on Wednesday (17 April).

Clement has not been afraid to change his side in the past, and Miller fully expects that to be the case for this midweek league clash.

“There’s six games left for Rangers, and six games they have to win if they are to win the title,” Miller told Sky Sports News [15 April, 10:34am].

“They fell short against Ross County and need to respond. It will be interesting to see which players [Clement] picks going into Wednesday.

“He has chopped and changed during his time as Rangers manager, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there were a few changes to that team.”

Miller added: “I think the manager will be really pushing his players to respond. He’s not someone who accepts mediocrity.”

Rangers face defining week v Dundee and Hearts

There is no doubt that Rangers need to quickly respond to the Ross County defeat if they are to prevent their season from fizzling out.

With the Viaplay Cup already in the bag, winning the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup would make for a season to remember.

With every game now more important than the last, it may well be that the Gers have to win every remaining game in both competitions.

After this Dundee clash comes a showdown with Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-finals. Win both of those and the clouds of doom will be lifted.

A draw or defeat against Dundee, however, followed by a loss to Hearts, and the campaign is as good as over with more than a month to go.

We are now into make-or-break territory and it is down to each and every player to stand up and be counted.
