Rangers v Ross County: Philippe Clement to drop Fabio Silva in 4 changes

Philippe Clement may look to make a few changes to the side that drew Celtic as Rangers play Ross County on 14 April.

With their mid-week game in hand against Dundee being called off due to bad weather and pitch conditions again, Gers failed to reclaim the top spot on the table.

They will look to do that over the weekend provided Celtic can do them favours by dropping points.

Diomande absence could see Lawrence drop into midfield for Rangers

Clement confirmed that Mohamed Diomande had to have an operation on his thumb after what happened in the Old Firm derby.

He stated that it’s not a long-term setback, but one that will keep him out of Sunday’s game against Ross County.

Tom Lawrence, who played as a number 10 v Celtic, may drop deep to partner John Lundstram and Todd Cantwell can play as the attacking midfielder.

Abdallah Sima merits a start for Rangers

Sima came off the bench against Celtic and had a devastating impact and the same can be said about Rabbi Matondo too.

Both Scott Wright and January signing Fabio Silva did not quite have the same kind of say on proceedings and Clement may look to drop both of them.

He also stated that Yilmaz could be back at the weekend so that could mean the Turkey international coming in for Dujon Sterling.

If not Yilmaz, there is a chance that Borna Barisic will get a nod in that position as well.
