John Hartson takes swipe at Rangers with letter sent to SPFL

John Hartson has taken a dig at Rangers as they sent a letter to the SPFL after the postponement of their game with Dundee on 10 April.

The game was already rescheduled once and due to adverse pitch and weather conditions, it had to once again.

Gers are undoubtedly infuriated as they’ve got a game in hand as they chase Celtic for the SPFL title.

Hartson on Twitter, responded to Gers’ letter which called Dundee “negligent” by writing: “Why are Dundee negligent? Because of the Weather!!”

Hartson shows clear Celtic bias with Rangers comments

Gers have legitimate reasons to feel aggrieved over the repeated postponement of their fixture against Dundee due to poor pitch conditions.

The ongoing disruptions not only affect their schedule but also disrupt their momentum and preparation.

Furthermore, the inconsistency in enforcing pitch standards across the league raises questions about fairness and competitiveness.

Hartson’s dismissal of Gers’ concerns overlooks the genuine frustrations and implications for the club and he’s clearly being partisan.

His biased stance, favouring Celtic, undermines the integrity of his analysis and perpetuates division within Scottish football.

The situation benefits Celtic by potentially disrupting Gers’ rhythm and increasing their chances in the title race.

The Ibrox outfit’s frustration is warranted, highlighting broader issues within the Scottish football landscape that require addressing to ensure fairness and transparency for all clubs.

In other Rangers news, a Leeds-born striker has confirmed that he wants to move to Ibrox and is available on a free transfer this summer.
