Rangers predicted XI v Celtic: Ridvan Yilmaz, Abdallah Sima decisions made
Philippe Clement will undoubtedly have a selection dilemma when Rangers take on Celtic in the Old Firm derby on 7 April.
Speaking to the press ahead of the game, Clement confirmed that Yilmaz has a 50-50 chance to feature in the game post an injury he picked up on international duty.
The Belgian also stated that while Sima is fit to start, he may not be ready to play the full 90 minutes.
Rangers defence likely to remain unchanged
This could see Clement winging in a few changes from the side that beat Hibernian on 30 March by a 3-1 scoreline.
Even if Yilmaz is passed fit, starting the game might be risky and he can make a telling impact off the bench so the back line is unlikely to change.
There is also no need to mess with the midfield with John Lundstram and Mohamed Diomande complementing each other well.
Will Sima return to the playing XI for Rangers?
However, the final third is where changes are expected with Clement perhaps giving Todd Cantwell a different role.
The Englishman has been playing as a number 10 but can also do well on the right and will arguably be better than Scott Wright.
The 26-year-old started against Hibs, but could drop to the bench to get in Tom Lawrence who can play in the 10 position and without the ball, drop into midfield to form a three and offer solidity out of possession.
With Sima able to start and perhaps play 60-75 minutes, it makes sense to give him a start as he’s scored 10 goals in 15 league starts this season.

It will also mean that Cyriel Dessers, who has been defended by Clement ahead of the game, does not have all the goal-scoring burden.
