Rangers fury on the cards in coming days as ‘Shock’ Dundee footage emerges

Rangers v Dundee is at risk of being postponed again as footage has emerged from Dens Park on Saturday, 6 April.

The fixture was rescheduled to 10 April, but now that one seems to be at risk of going ahead as well.

The hapless conditions at Dens Park coupled by the weather may lead to fury on the Gers side of things as this will disrupt Philippe Clement’s plans yet again.

The Scottish Sun took to Twitter to write: “Shock Dundee vs Motherwell footage shows worrying update on condition of Dens Park pitch with Rangers clash days away and more rain forecast.”

Rangers fury valid after Dundee shambles

Gers have valid reasons to be furious with the situation surrounding Dundee’s pitch condition.

The repeated postponements at Dens Park demonstrate a lack of diligence and responsibility on Dundee’s part to maintain a playable pitch, which is essential for the integrity and smooth running of the league.

Given the impending fixture against the Ibrox outfit, the uncertainty surrounding the pitch’s suitability raises serious concerns about fairness and safety for the players.

Dundee must be fined by SPFL

Dundee’s failure to adequately address this issue despite multiple previous postponements reflects poorly on their organisation and preparedness.

The potential fallback plans, including playing behind closed doors or at an alternative venue, disrupt the competitive balance and inconvenience both teams and fans.

The SPFL should enforce heavy fines on Dundee to ensure accountability and deter similar occurrences in the future.

Such actions are necessary to uphold the standards and professionalism expected in professional football leagues.
