Rangers: Alan Stubbs makes Ibrox jibe after new Everton footage in last 24 hours
Alan Stubbs has aimed a jibe at Rangers after new Everton footage has emerged following their game against Bournemouth on Saturday (30 March).
The pundit posted a video on Twitter on Sunday (31 March) of the Toffees being denied a penalty as he labelled it a “scandalous” decision in their 2-1 defeat to the Cherries.
After a Hibernian fan replied to say it “should have been a penalty to Rangers”, Stubbs responded by saying it would have been.
Alan Stubbs has no love for Rangers
It’s pretty clear that Stubbs has no love for Rangers after spending a number of years at Celtic before later going on to manage Hibernian.
It’s strange that the Gers are drawn into so many arguments about penalties when it comes to matters that have absolutely nothing to do with them.
It comes after they were awarded a spot kick in their 3-1 victory over Hibs on Saturday, with James Tavernier surprisingly failing to find the back of the net.
There has been some criticism aimed at the SFA this season after some people believe the Light Blues have been awarded too many penalties.
But that is something that is simply out of Philippe Clement’s control as his focus will purely be on helping his side secure more trophies during this campaign.
