Rangers: Concern that Motherwell sensation Lennon Miller could be lost to Celtic
Derek Ferguson is concerned that Rangers could lose out on Lennon Miller to Celtic if they don’t get a deal sorted soon.
The pundit thinks the Motherwell youngster is an excellent prospect who he would “love” to see at Ibrox, with goals the one thing he still needs to improve on despite one being ruled out in “criminal circumstances” against Aberdeen [Scottish Sun, 20 March].
But with the midfield sensation linked to a potential move to either side of the Old Firm Ferguson is under no illusions that the Light Blues can afford to be complacent or they might lose out.
Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News he admitted: “Yeah, that is a worry because Celtic will be in the same kind of thought process, that they want to get the best young players.
“I’d love to see him get tied up by Rangers, because he’s just turned 17, he’s got an old head on young shoulders. He plays the game like a 28-year-old.
“And the one thing, he’s only going to get better. The goal [against Aberdeen] was chopped off because of VAR, which was absolutely criminal. I think for the young man, from what I’ve watched, if he can add a few more goals to his game and keep improving he’s going to be a top top player.
“Without a shadow of a doubt he’s going to be a future Scotland player.”

Rangers risk losing out if Motherwell talent moves to Parkhead
If the Light Blues are minded to move for Miller at all then they should be proactive to avoid potentially having to play against him in Old Firm derbies for years to come.
However, if both sides of Glasgow wait too long then he could end up leaving the Scottish Premiership entirely considering how highly he’s rated.
