Rangers injury news: Doctor shares Ross McCausland update
Rangers attacker Ross McCausland is still not at a 100 per cent post his injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert has reacted to news emerging at the start of the month which claimed that the 20-year-old required crutches after the 2-1 win over Motherwell.
The initial prognosis was not reportedly good but he has recovered from it pretty well and even featured in the game against Benfica following that game and recently, even returned to Ibrox from international duty with an injury
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“The good news is that the crutches sounded more precautionary than anything else.
“The fact that he has been training normally and getting minutes off the bench is a very good sign and I reckon this will be a day by day assessment type injury to gauge his availability.
“He still is not at a 100 per cent but he’s getting there.“
McCausland may be suffering from excessive workload at Rangers
The 20-year-old has played 22 league games and has become a first-team player for Philippe Clement’s side.
It is his first campaign where he’s playing so many matches and that is bound to take a toll on his body.

It remains to be seen how extreme his current injury is and the club will be hoping that it’s not too serious.
In other Rangers news, a player has admitted that Celtic made an effort to sign him after he left Ibrox.
